Free Gas Giveaway – June 28th

Family Night @ the Park

We are just 2 days out from our 2nd annual Family Night at the Park!!

Here is what you can expect this year:

1. Free Amusement Rides – we have 4,000 free amusement ride tickets to give out.

2. Free Inflatables – we have 12 HUGE inflatables coming & 2 rock climbing walls.

3. Free Food – we are giving away 4,000 FREE hot dogs and drinks. We are also giving away FREE popcorn & drinks for the movie.

4. Vendors – There will also be vendors on sight selling food. Chick-fil-a will be selling sandwiches – Starbucks will be selling different coffee’s – Smitty’s Ice Cream will be selling ice cream cones – we have someone coming to do Kettle Corn and Cotton Candy – Domino’s Pizza will be on sight selling pizza’s – Burlington City Parks and Rec. will have all concession stands open and available.

5. Movie – We are showing the premiere of Disney’s Camp Rock – LIVE at the park! Movie will start at 8pm!

6. Band - The PRC band will be playing from 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm – they will be doing tons of cover songs & some of your favorite hits.

7. Giveaways – Everyone that registers will be entered into a drawing for our Free Giveaways – iPod shuffles, iPod’s, game systems.

8. Carnival Games – There will be about a dozen carnival style games set-up throughout the park with free prizes for the kids.

9. Face Painting – Face painting will be available for the kid’s in a designated area.

10. uGo the Clown – uGo the clown returns this year and he will once again be giving out free balloon creations.

I am sure I am leaving a ton of stuff out – make sure you don’t miss this year’s Family Night at the Park – it’s going to be incredible!!

Leaving your mark

Teaching Series-INKED | 6.1.08!

One of the hottest things in our culture today, is tattoos. You can’t turn on the TV, pick-up a magazine, or run into someone who hasn’t been bitten by the tattoo bug.

Behind every tattoo is a great story and whether you like it or not the mark that is left behind is permanent.

Over the next few weeks, we are going to discover ways that we can begin leaving a permanent mark on our families, our communities, the church, and our world!

• June 29th – leaving a mark on the world

PRC Give Back Project | Share Your Story!

This week we closed out our “monopoLIFE” teaching series in a HUGE way!!!! The purpose of this series was to teach all of us who call Pine Ridge Church home that the reason we exist as a church is to give back to the communities that God has put us in.

We did that in a BIG way today by giving back our weekly offering to those in attendance so that we could be a blessing to someone else. Everyone in attendance was given an envelope with different amounts of money in it and a card with these instructions written on it:

1. The money is not to be used on you or given back to this church.
2. The money is for you to meet someone else’s needs.
3. The money has to be spent on someone outside our church family, but in the surrounding communities.
4. Share your story at prcgiveback.com

The sole purpose in doing this is to allow all of us an opportunity to be a blessing to someone in our community. As a church we are blessed beyond measure and we think it is awesome that we are in a position to give back to you – so that you can give back to those around you.
